    An experience of Thermal positivity
Having visited this establishment for the first time we were not disappointed. With a variety of spa treatments and many pools to try, one will not be left bored nor unhappy. There are multiple saunas and steam rooms, selection of massage treatments, and by every pool there are multiple poolside bars and the staff are helpful too. There is something for everyone, families, couples and the group of friends too. Onsite there are a couple of eating places too, where the selection is varied and ample, one will not be disappointed. Highly recommend a visit to this establishment when visiting Bucharest

Sauna Fest 2023 is a must go!
Amazing spa, pool and wellness facilities in a beautiful botanical setting. The highlight by far is the sauna experience and while we were there it was Sauna Fest 23 (22 days in Oct) This consisted of special rituals throughout the days we were there with different themes such as Revolution, Bohemian Rhapsody, Evolution and loads more on future dates. Mihai, Alexandra and all the other sauna masters did a phenomenal job! Cant wait to go back for more of the Sauna Fest! Thanks everyone, James and Katie (UK)

    Not enough
We bought the Elysium pass. Not only were the massages extra but they were already fully booked when we got there. Skincare sessions weren't available either. The waterslides were fun but the lines were long even though we visited on a weekday. If you like pools and sunbathing, definitely recommend. But as someone used to sandy beaches, I wasn't impressed

Massive facility with everything required for a day of relaxing and unwinding.
Large spa with three separate areas for different kinds of experiences. Well worth the price of admission. Recommend the all day all access pass as the freedom to pass through each area is very convenient. Staff are very helpful and quick to resolve any issues that arise. Located a 20 min drive from Bucharest, this is a great place to escape from the hustle of the city. Highly recommended.

relaxing! bar staff lets it down!
Great value for money definitely do the best package possible you can spend a whole day there relaxing. definitely worth staying for the night time vibes the bracelet to zap for different zones and the bar is very good can get fairly busy. down side not very well sign posted! ( no phones around pools hair must be up and you need to take your towel everywhere ie saunas) bar staff lets it down they dont seem to want to serve and dont listen to orders! could do with some water stations or vending machines so you dont have to go pool side. maybe better towel facilities! once there wet thats it your stuck with it. and peoples shoes all over the steps when your getting in the pools! needs racking for them!

    Amazing Massage
I experienced the most incredible massage (Siberian cold massage) at Therme, courtesy of Gay-Gay!! Her expertise and knowledge about the body and muscles were truly impressive, she knew precisely where and how to apply deep pressure to alleviate tension. She wholeheartedly dedicated herself to the massage, and put lots of force into the tissue just as I requested. I deeply admire her dedication and skill. Respect! Outstanding job!

Huge spa - worth spending a full day
The only reason I'm giving this place a 4 and not a 5 is because you can't book a massage in advance. You have to get there when it opens at 10 am to make sure you get a slot. Would be so much better to be able to pay for it in advance so you don't have to get up so early. Otherwise this place is great. During the day is chilled and at night, it becomes more buzzing with loud music and lights. You don't need tickets in advance. Just buy them at the self service kiosk that way you don't even have to queue (if there's a queue). TIP: Bring slippers!

    Not dimensioned for many people
Never go here on a weekend. Way to overcrowded. Might be fun during the weekdays with less people. Also, if you want a chance to book massage, you need to be there early because you cannot pre-book. The Humblot restaurant is not dimensioned for many people as well. The ordering systems sucks. It’s the same as McDonalds, only that you need to use separate terminals for the different food types on. There is only one terminal per food court and a lot of people use the terminal to find food rather than looking at the menu first creating serious cues. Food overall is approved, but the waiting time ruined the experience. And the app… in 2023 you would expect it to be easier to use a app to plan your day, such as aufguss sessions and book massages, but the app rather focuses on how many stay and zen points you are able to get. Overall - Not a good experience. Might change the review when I’m here during a weekday with less people.

    The best experience in Romania
This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever experienced in my life. They certainly live up to their reputation and the hype is real. Drinks are cheap, around 30 Lei, and 14 Lei for a draught beer. The staff were polite and professional, and the facilities are incredible. I would 100% recommend this to anyone, it is great for couples, groups of friends or family. We finished the night by eating at the Mango Tree restaurant and this was the best Thai meal I’ve ever had.

    Must Do
An absolute gem to Visit and great value approved 40 mins outside of the min Bucharest city, an uber will cost about £12 total if you don't fancy the free bus or normal bus. Be aware upon exit Uber will not pick you up due to a system location error we had 3 users cancel forcing us to either be totally ripped off by Star Taxis (£26 for an 6km journey to the airport) or waiting 2 hours for the free bus back into the city. The facilities were so clean and kept up on top of through the day. The Galaxy section is full of pool slides and an outdoor poor bar with jacuzzi beds. The Palm section is the main hub with rainforest steam room, aromatherapy pools, poor bar, outdoor pool section with jacuzzi beds. The Elysium section was led infrared lamp beds, a variety of steam rooms magnesium pool and treatment areas. It wasn't very clear initially on where anything was but after a good roam around we found everything. Changing rooms and lockers are unisex for which you are allocated a wrist band and numbered locker, the wrist bands also accumulated any additional costs to be paid upon exit. The hot stone massage and cryotherapy message were amazing, serious hats off to the team and worth every penny (with the addition of a cheeky free vegan smoothie too). 4.5 hours is definately long enough although the evening Palm guests were really getting into the activities as we left. Guests were a complete mix and the facilities is definately catered to all. Take your own flip flops, towel and robe for ease (you will need a towel for some of the included areas). Some sections the staff ate happy for photos but there a lot which prohibit phones (and only in my opinion rightly so). A great end to our long weekend trip

Booked a full day at Elysium in order to also book a massage, which you can only do on location. When we got there, 1st free slot was after 4h and 1st couples massage after 6h. So no massage.
Apart from this, it's extremely crowded even in Elysium area. Saunas made for 20 persons are filled with double that if there's a ritual in progress. Line to go to the small pool bar. No seats available at all.
We did not use the big Palm pool, too full. And we only looked at Galaxy through the entrance, you could barely fit an extra person in. If you go late evening, early morning or week-days perhaps it's a bit better but I would not count on it.
Ticket only includes access, all else is extra. By adding slippers towels a frugal meal and 2 drinks to the entry fee, we paid 700 lei and spent 3h there.
In my personal opinion, it's not worth it.

Each time I go to Therme, something upsets me. This time it was the bad organization from the Galaxy restaurant. The restaurant is extremely small for the large crowd that fits into Galaxy zone- the family zone. We had to wait 30 minutes to order a portion of pasta that cooked in 6'. The philipino servant was very slowwww and so overwhelmed. She served 7 people in 30 minutes!
Also , there was a bad smell of burned oil in the entire restaurant. I was expecting better foid quality, but they offer a lot of unhealthy food, although, being a restaurant for the family area, many children eat there.
So, if you like queues, you will find them here: queue at the entrance, queue at the restaurant, queue at the slides...
Weekends are horrible there: so crowded, that you leave with a headache!

I really enjoyed my time at the spa. I thought I might get a bit bored after a few hours but the day went really quickly and I definitely could have spent more time there! We spent the majority of the day trying out the different pools and saunas but they also do aerobics which was fun!
I’d definitely recommend going to the Thai restaurant at the top as it was so quiet in relation to the rest of the place and the food was amazing!
We’d already paid to hire a robe but they give you a robe to sit and eat in the restaurant so I wouldn’t bother hiring a robe in the future to save a few pennies!
I’d definitely go back as it was such a lovely chilled day, followed by a lovely sunset.
P.S. Remember your flip flops!

The facilities here are great, the highlight for me being the amazing water slides (especially the one that ends in a half pipe!). Unfortunately, the slide area was massively understaffed when we were there, leaving one overworked lifeguard desperately trying to maintain order at the top of 3 (or possibly 4) slides with large, excitable queues of children and adults. He did a valiant job, but it was simply too much work for one person. In most similar water parks you would see a minimum of one lifeguard at the top of each slide on a busy day, and with good reason. Better signage to inform guests about which slides can be used with double rings and which cannot would have eased the chaos in the queues also. The spa area was excellent, with a great variety of saunas and a plunge pool to die for (with waterfalls!), however I was prevented from really enjoying it by the extortionate price of drinking water. You'd have to be mad to use saunas without staying properly hydrated, however the only water available was 500ml plastic bottles for 7.9RON (more than €1.50!) a pop. How they do not have water fountains like every other half decent gym or spa in the world is beyond me. Even if you don't mind the price, all that disposable plastic is unacceptable.

I was at a busy conference and needed a morning off, this was beyond all my expectations. You can easily come here from Bucharest center by public transport, with a special bus once an hour or switching two busses, which is extremely easy and costs almost nothing.
The place is beautiful, clean, busy but not crowded. Smooth experience buying ticket on site and buying drinks and food inside. Very modern, clean, great for adults and small ones.
Galaxy is family area, Palma is a calmer area where very small kids can come. It's so big I didn't need to pay for more.
October in Bucharest is wonderful, warm but not too hot, great time for outside pools as well.
Lots of neat steamrooms, hot tubs.
The building has lots of light, high wooden ceiling and relaxing background music. None of that 90s retro swimming pool vibe.
Swim up bars are awesome, everyone chill and friendly, they also have proper espresso machines and all drinks have non alcohol option.
Obligatory flipflops are an excellent hygiene addition.
If you want to go back, you can also just walk to highway stop, it's 12 minutes by foot, bolt/uber 17euro to Bucharest center.
I will definitely come again with family.

Everything looks nice: there’s marble everywhere, and trees, and pools with crystal clear water, and zen-looking mud-packing members of staff. However, and I somewhat feel bad for saying this, the staff is often rude and unfriendly. You need to be extra careful with what you’re doing because you’re probably breaking a rule of some sort and you might get scolded by a staff member, who have very inelegant ways of doing that. No talking there, no sitting without a towel, no phones, no taking pictures in the pools unless you are a famous looking person, which means you can even get interviewed in the big pools without anyone telling you anything. I guess it’s all about who you are.
We went there on a Thursday and we paid a surcharge because it was a holiday. When I asked the young lady at the counter what holiday it was she said “it’s just like that, it’s a holiday here in Romania.” And that was the end of it.
The whole thing is a perfect metaphor for what post-communist Bucharest (and Romania as a country) is: stunning views, all beautiful on the outside, but full of rancor and repressed feelings on the inside. Among the marble walls and floors you might see an open door behind which cleaning ladies are arguing, and in the cacophony of sounds of children playing in the Galaxy you might hear a “bucureștean” (as people from Bucharest are called) hollering at a staff member because of something their kids did or didn’t do.
I’m sure other people find it wonderful, but I didn’t feel at peace once I was inside.

P.S. it takes 45 minutes to get there from the city center NOT 10.

Absolute rip off!!!!! They tell you you HAVE TO purchase flipflops or they refuse you entry even when you are wearing flipflops! Yet when you get in there, some people have no sandals and others are wearing their own! Slides look exciting but theu are slow and boring and queues are stupidly long, they make it look amazing online, but it's not. Staff are rude, people queue jumping and staff do nothing about it! You pay for 3 hrs but be aware you have to be OUT within 3 hours not out of the pool, they charged extra for us being half an hour over time because we had to shower and get changed. I will not be returning and advise anyone else to visit all of the outdoor waterparks, we have visited 4 different one's all better value for money, less busy, better food and you can stay all day.

I always come back to Therme and it always surprises me. I recommend to visit Therme during week days, because during the weekend it can be very crowded. I enjoy coming to all the three zones. Elysium has a variety of spa rituals, from aufguss experiences to skincare ones. In my last visit, I enjoyed two spa rituals: one breathing session and one aufguss session mixed with skincare routine. Both of them were held by Andrei. He is such an amazing and passionate guy. He was great during both sessions and he answered to all of our questions. All the food and drinks that we tried were great.

This would never work in the UK. H and S would ban the booze! Clean, organised, different. Hollywood Sauna was showing David Attenborough on chin strapped penguins. It worked.
I didn’t pay so cannot comment on vfm but it could have been very expensive and still worth it.

A very large relaxation center. It has an area with 6 saunas, massage, restaurant and small pools with beneficial water. An area with several pools, including an outdoor pool and pool bar. In addition, there is another restaurant with very good food and the price is good. And there is another area with slides, but it is full of children and there is not much space because of the slides. I recommend you take all 3 and all day because it is only 150 lei / person. I recommend this relaxation center ☑️
