This is a large park just outside downtown Excelsior. Great views of the lake. There is a beach, ball park, and plenty of places to sit for a picnic.

Two beaches, softball fields, tennis courts, basketball, picnic tables, Tommy's Trolley for ice cream and kayak rentals. Parking is not free - metered street parking only, but you can park for free in the lots downtown if you're willing to walk a couple of blocks.

A must visit. After you can go to any local restaurant/bar. I highly recommend the Suburban. Best burgers in the Minneapolis area.
