Wine Republic specializes in biodynamic, organic and sustainable wines. We have found these wines delicious at a nice price point. The owners are very knowledgeable and personable. There are tastings most Friday night and Saturday afternoons. Their wine clubs are a good value.

We love wine and mostly eat organic, so we were thrilled to stumble upon Minnesota’s only organic wine shop. We opted to pay $5 to taste five wines. Each of us received a $5 voucher to apply to a bottle of wine. The two staff members were chatty and knowledgeable. We were visiting Excelsior this past weekend and stopped into this cute wine shop. We were greeted immediately and took part in a tasting. Not only were both shop owners friendly, they were very knowledgeable about the selection of wines being served. There were a variety of price points on the different wines in the shop, and it felt like a carefully curated selection where every wine was hand selected. There was no pressure to purchase, but when we did, the owner spent some time both listening to what we wanted and explaining different options. This is a special wine store on Excelsior's water street. They specialize in organic wines from all over the world. Many people find Organic wines are easier on their bodies and headaches. Patti and RJ are very knowledgeable and personable hosts. Prices are very reasonable. There is no reason to go to bigger box liquor stores to buy inferior wines. Come to Wine Republic instead- you will enjoy. …
