The shopping at the unique stores was really nice. We were able to find different items for gifts that you can't find at other places. Fun day for the girls.

Sheridan Street in Ely is THE street----the main drag through town. Honestly, I didn't venture off of it but as small as Ely is I don't think there is really much of anything on the side streets, unless it's within a block either side of...More

My two favorite shops were Steger Mucklucks which has the mucklucks (and some other great items)... and Wintergreen Northern Wear. There are also some small galleries I thought were interesting.

Love all the stores along Sheridan Street. Also a lot of good restaurants to eat at; Boathouse Brewery, Ely Steakhouse, Front Porch Coffee & Tea Company, Dairy Queen, Subway, Sir G's Italian Restaurant!

Ely is being recreated with loving care and great paint choices in their revitalization projects. Northern Grounds is too new to be listed here, but it is a great coffee shop/wine bar.

Spent several hours walking down Sheridan visiting the shops. There is a little bit of everything for everyone as you walk the street.

Ely is a fun place to visit. It's a very cute, old town. Lots of unique nature shops, small cafe's and famous Steger Mukluks. Several things are made locally. Just park, walk and shop.

As the main street in town, many of the local businesses are located on Sheridan. It leads one into town and then further to Hwy. 1 to the North Shore and also to Winton, 3 miles from Ely and to the various lake entries.

The street is a set of small and average restaurants, shops, cafes and outfitter's stores. It's nice to walk or drive and stop by in different places. Everything is very concentrated and convenient!
