Come here to visit the train museum and ride a train along the shore of Lake Superior (lower level), see a play, lecture or a concert (2 venues with in the building), or enjoy installations of art (in the main hall or upstairs).

None of us knew what to expect but our family of six loved the seven tracks of trains and old time business windows. We especially enjoyed the scavenger hunt and walking in the cars.

We went to DULUTH to see Bentlyville Christmas lights. We got to DULUTH early and with a couple kids (4 and 6) we needed some entertainment. The trains were spectacular and were much more fun than the Christmas lights at Bentlyville. We had so much...More

We wandered through this place and found lots of interesting things to read and learn about. Kind of pricey, I wouldn't take younger kiddos as they wouldn't understand a lot about this.

We went without kids and had a great time. There are a lot of old trains that have been restored. Pretty cool place.
