Great place for a nice walk along the big lake. Beautiful park surroundings adjacent to the renowned Lake walk that runs the east side of the city.

This park is situated on the shores of Lake Superior and a bit north of the center of downtown Duluth. As the name implies, there is a statue of Leif Erickson in the park. The park is well-maintained and has a beautiful rose garden.

Great place to visit if you love roses. The kids had a great time running throughout the gardens. It is very beautiful. We thought about doing our wedding reception here, it is not suitable for large gatherings.

We stopped here October 9 and the roses were still in bloom. They were gorgeous and there are many varieties. The gardens are well maintained. A true gem in season.

It's a park it's open all the time, there is no gate to get in. Although I think they discourage visitors past 10pm.
