You'll find an abundance of state parks just north of Duluth, which include lighthouses, waterfalls, and breathtaking views of Lake Superior. Lots of trails for hikers, scenic stops for photographers, and overall so much do to for those find solace in nature.

Still great! Rain or shine! The best of Minnesota is the best even in the rain. Warm and dry places to pull over and watch the ships come in. So much to see.

I never knew there were so many waterfalls in Minnesota! We did the north shore scenic drive bucket list and waterfall tour in 2.5 days. The waters were raging with the late snow melt. We started with the Lester river Falls and gooseberry Falls then...More

We had the good fortune to have clear sunny weather from Duluth, Minnesota to Thunder Bay, Ontario. Lake Superior was dead flat calm for a portion of the time and the variety of blue water was stunning. There are so many scenic spots along the...More

It's Duluth, plan for anything. Pants, Jacket & Shoes would be the best bet. Was just there last week, wore a jacket most of time. Sandles did not make it out of the suitcase. If you are going to be on the water dress... More
