The only aquarium in the U.S. that focuses on freshwater exhibits, this three-story waterfront structure is ready for public viewing after a year and a half and almost $34 million. Plenty of interactive exhibits and re-created habitats are fun and educational for children.

Prices are a bit over the top for only two people, 35$ for two adults. On the other hand you learn about new aquatic animals, Mother Earth, information about Lake Superior, and much more.

Great Experience. Kids still love going here even as they are getting older. Enjoyed being able to touch the lake sturgeon and love all the hands on options.

The admission was fairly steep for what it was ($37 for my wife and I). There's 2 floors and a handful of larger tanks with about twice as many smaller tanks and the nature of the layout did not lend itself well to prolonged viewing...More

This Aquarium was very expensive, very low quality, and it is very prevalent that the fish are neglected. Not worth the trip.
