We visit this wonderful oasis of a dog park a couple times a week! Trails are well groomed, visitors seem to be responsible picking up waste and our dogs get an amazing work out here running and playing with all the other dogs. There's ALWAYS...More

This is a very family friendly county park that I visit year round for walking, snowshoeing, skating, fishing, and swimming. As of time of writing, you can purchase a 12-month park pass for $25 or pay a daily entrance fee for $6 per day. The...More

When you drive in you put $5 in the box, then it's a short drive to the parking lot. Nice scenery as you ski, trails were groomed, a big loop and you're back to the parking lot, all good. You get to be out in...More

We were here for a run. I had no idea how gorgeous this park was. I am sorry I hadn't gone sooner! We will be back soon to enjoy the cool beach and trails!

A lovely place to relax and unwind. We took a blanket and chilled out on the grass just by the water's edge. The weather was perfect, 90° and it was quiet.

There is something for everyone in this park. It's a nice sized lake with good fishing from a boat, shore or fishing dock. We caught 80 nice sized crappies from our boat on Mothers Day. Our grandkids love the playground area, with its variety of...More

The trails, picnic areas, beach and all-round "natural-ness" of this 700-acre gem is fantastic. Good for biking, hiking, lounging, boating (fishing is fantastic), and just hanging out.

Yes, grills are available close to the swimming beach as well as the fishing pier. There is also a shelter close to the big playground with grills.

There is no campground at this park. Lake Ann is probably the closest lake to Lake Minnewashta. I do not think there is a Lake Emma in the vicinity unless it is a lake that is surrounded by private property and not easily... More
