This site is so funny! It is so worth coming to see the Green Giant. We enjoyed walking around and taken lots of pictures. We didn't have kids with us but the few children that were there were running around having fun.
On a recent roadtrip, checking off a long list of unique roadside attractions, the Jolly Green Giant was a standout.
The park is easily accessible from the highway and beautifully laid out, with a large lawn and small garden surrounding the main attraction.
We missed seeing Iowa's largest frying pan and the John Deere museum this morning, so of course when we had more than 5 seconds' notice, we stopped! Nice little fenced in area to let the 7yo and toddler run around. Picnic tables. Flower garden. But...More
Found this to be a great little stop for the family during a cross-country road trip. It's a great place to take a break, walk around, and take a few pictures. Not much to it, and it won't take much time either.
This was our first step on our South Dakota trip. This was a quick stop but they all enjoyed. Is about 3 minutes off the highway and is an easy spot to stop and take a quick picture. Differently recommend.
A nice tourist stop if you're traveling along i90. If you grew up eating Green Giant, the statue will bring back pleasant memories. For kids, its a fun stop and there's grass to run around and get out some energy on a long drive.
