This is a cool viewing spot. Not much to do at the top other than just hang out for a few minutes. Expert rock climbers were belaying down the steep cliff. The parking is really limited and there was a bit of a bottle neck...More

It is possibly to drive right up to the attraction. Some minor hiking from there if you want to experience the full view of the West. The sign at the bottom says large vehicles not allowed. I drive a Suburban with no problem.

We had read reviews and I was expecting so much more. The description of the drive made it almost seem like a mountain road. It takes about 5-10 minutes to drive, not that difficult. It's a decent view but I've seen so much better elsewhere.

This is a must stop if you have never been. Stunning views from the top. Narrow paved road to top, limited parking at top - I imagine on busy days this could get interesting. We walked around on the rocks a bit but stayed well...More

We drove the road up to Palisade Head and the view at the end was amazing! We enjoyed watching the lake and the rock climbers scaling the cliffs alongside where we were sitting. Definitely worth a stop! Watch for crazy drivers on the road though,...More

The view here is gorgeous. I'm glad we were there when it wasn't crowded because it might be tricky getting down the road with a large vehicle when others are going the other direction.
