If you have children or if you feel like being a child again the Critter Barn is a really nice place to go. It's like a petting zoo and on many occasions you will find them bringing their animals out into the public area for parades and parties. It's a great way to give your children hands on experience with... More

Yes, if you want to experience with your children, what farm animals are like ,and how to care for them, this is truely the place to come. All staff are so informitive and make a few hours on the farm seem like only minutes. Being able to hold the baby chicks, and bunnies and come up close with the horses... More

My five year old twins absolutely love critter barn. They are able to hold baby chicks, pet bunnies, play with goats and see so many animals. A must do for young children and animal lovers!

We went there with our 5 year old and 1.5 year old. They loved walking around looking and petting all the animals. They have signs marking which animals they are, the owner walks around and talks with you and is very upbeat and friendly. The young staff seems like a bunch of hard workers, moving animals and loading hay. The... More

We visited Critter Barn for the second time in August 2015. This is a really hands-on experience for kids, and it's loads better than a typical petting zoo. This has more of a natural farm feel to it rather than a gated petting zoo area. You can get a bucket with hay to feed the animals as you walk around.... More

Great place for your kiddos to pet many different animals. In December they run a live nativity scene. What a great place! I have started a new tradition with my 14 month old for many years to come. It is free but please donate! Such a wonderful place!!

Every time my family visits the Critter Barn, it's a new experience. The animals are always changing as they grow up and as new ones are born. It's very interactive and hands on, yet safe for the animals as it is well staffed with employees and volunteers. We recently had a preschool field trip to the Critter Barn, and I... More
