We walked on the nature trail that does not allow any dogs, bikes, or joggers so you don't have to worry about people dinging their bike horns or saying, "passing on your left". You also have a better chance of seeing some animals in their natural habitats without the noises of bikes, & dogs and the speed of the joggers.... More

This is a fantastic park! My husband loves the riding trails even. Also there are many places for our toddler to play!

Indian Springs is one of several parks in the Detroit metro area (hence the name). It offers many family-friendly programs throughout the year, has a great play area and water feature for young kids, and a sledding hill in the winter. The Discovery Center is well run and available for event rental. There are several trails, paved and unpaved, although... More

Great trails for hiking. Bike paths. Fun kid areas. The nature center is small, but interesting. The event area is such a beautiful indoor/outdoor mix. I would get married here. Easy to borrow backpacks for hiking adventures. Very close to downtown Clarkston.

This place has the nicest paved trails to ride a bike onion the local area. You can ride eight miles. That's a long way for a average person. Can you tell we are recreational bikers only,

played a golf outing at Indian springs. it was a great day. everyone working there was so very friendly, from the pro shop, to the food and beverage counter, to the starter, and the beverage cart girls. it was a warm and welcoming experience. the course was in good condition and the greens were challenging. (fast and undulating). we had... More

If you want to get away from the stress of urban life, this would be a good place to do it. I think the fact that it doesn't have nearby access from an expressway keeps the crowds down. That, plus the fact it doesn't have a beach like Kensington. People that come here are coming here for the nature. They... More

Great multi-directional sledding hill in the winter, when there is enough snow. Great biking and hiking area in the summer. Nice setup for kids with the play area, and the sprinkler/maze feature.
