A smaller dog beach. Not much depth to it but nice enough as it seems to be about the only one in the area. Lots of dogs on the weekends. Most owners are in control where you still have some that do not control their...More

Our first trip to the dog beach. The place is beautiful but the flies were out in droves. The dog had a wonderful time frolicking through the waves. The walk to the beach is fairy short and easy to walk but there are steps down...More

The park is well cared for. Both the people beach and dog beach areas are clean. Nice hike over the dunes and through the woods too.

We took our dog to the dog beach and had the best time! Our dog loved the water, and we loved how long the beach was. It was a 2.5 hour drive and cost us $7 to get it but it was totally worth it!...More

This was a great dog park for our family and dog. It was very clean, LOTS of other friendly dogs, nice beach. Some dogs were on leash, others ran freely. The walk to the beach was quite a ways, but it's all in the woods...More

Stopped here with our greyhound on a Monday afternoon instead of visiting the local dog park. Parking was $5 for county residents and $7 for others. Parking was more than adequate, but I could see it maybe being busy on a weekend in the summer....More

If you don't want to hang out with dogs at the beach, is this beach still and option? Do people respect the separate beach designations?

Yes! The designated dog area is marked and past that point no animals are allowed. During my visit it seemed as if people respected the separate beach area. There are many miles of beach and trails to explore in the area!
