Fun Store!

If you are from Detroit, it's a great store for nostalgia and gifts. Full of classic Detroit products and souvenirs.

The Detroit Shoppe is located on the top level of Michigan's premier shopping mall, The somerset Collection. The store carries a wide assortment of items from both Detroit's past and present. There's great gifts for yourself or someone else.

Looking for something a little unique that says "Detroit" .. Then this is the place to go! Great place for souvenirs or to decorate your man cave.

Great shop inside Somerset Mall, worth the visit. Bought a really cool t-shirt but there are so many more items to buy. Please visit.

Malls are just a dying breed. This one is no different. It was clean, empty. Nothing that really appeal to me, or my kids.

For those who grew up on Vernors, Paramount potato chips, Fago Soda, Sanders Choclate, and other old Detroit brands, you wil love the place. They also have a collection of T shirts and T shirts featuring Kid Rock's Bad Azz beer. However, one caveat. There are no returns you can only receive a credit to buy something else in the... More

I live but 2 miles from the Detroit Shoppe and it is my GO TO spot before hosting out of town visitors. Postcards, a few fav Detroit products and a unique tee if the visitor is from Europe. Living in the suburbs, this is a good introduction to the city before actually going there. And furthermore,Sommerset Mall is the glam... More

Always a must-stop when in the area! Love the clothing and nostalgic food and gifts! Certain amount of proceeds go back into the restoration of Detroit as well, which is something all stores in the area should consider.

Beside selling unique products from artists and authors from Detroit, they also have fun and educational bus trips. I have been on several of the tours to Detroit - Visiting Indian Village, Cork Town, The Piquette auto plant and recently The Parade Company. All those tours are masterfully organized and led by Linda Weir - The Somerset Collection Detroit Shop... More
