Front St. is filled with eateries, souvenir shops, boutiques, art galleries, coffee shops, trinket stores, specialty boutiques and more. As little or as much time as you wish could be spent here wandering in and out of the many offerings. Parking will be the biggest...More

We enjoyed looking in the shops and eating at some restaurants. Great place to get ice cream, coffee, a souvenir, plus some nice stores as well. You can even do a wine tasting at Cherry Republic. A very nice feel to this street.

This street "fronts" the marina and beach of Traverse Bay. It is an excellent location to stroll through unique shops, enjoy a delicious dinner, and end the evening walking under the bridge to the marina to see the sunset over Lake Michigan. Don't miss this...More

There was so much to do downtown. We only scratched the surface of what was available. There was a wide range of businesses, from dining to souvenirs. It was a very busy area, so taking small children was worrisome at times though.

What a cute street. Full of interesting shops and great restaurants. We enjoyed Amical and Georgina's and had a delicious ice cream at Kilwins. Go in the Cherry Republic for great gifts and samples, including cherry salsa, chocolate covered cherries and cherry wine.

It's staffed mostly by volunteers. There are stars showing on the ceiling - a nice touch. They do have comfortable chairs. I have been here several times and it never gets old.

Perfect for us, as we love downtown areas. This one is just the right size. Not like blocks and blocks of large cities and not so small town with little selection. We tried recommended shops and eateries, some we were pleased with and some didn't...More

Yes there are. Most restaurants have several gluten free options listed right on their menu. I live here, eat out a lot and also have to be gluten free. It is always wise to ask just to be sure. I think Traverse City was... More
