This was the second of 5 wineries we visited on our tour. Went in with great expectation and was let down. The quality of the wine was not the problem, we bought some of the wine. The staff made the experience very ordinary... they dropped sheets for us to make selections, made no suggestions and barely spoke to us while... More

Hello Stopped at several wineries along Old Mission and this is always my favorite! Love the atmosphere and the views are breathtaking, it was of course very cold on Saturday when we were there but we still went out and took pictures off of the beautiful patio. If you have not been here you must go at least once!

We were with a tour group who had called ahead on a Friday afternoon. We were greeted with some unhappy comments when we arrived. This is the third time we've experienced this at this winery unfortunately. We frequent the TC area and love the view and the wine at Chateau Chantal, but aren't sure some of the team there wants... My wife and I have visited Chantal Chateau Winery over a dozen times in the past 10 years and have watched it mature over time into a superb, modern winery. The wines are top-notch Michigan wines, service is always great and the views are among the best in all of the Traverse City region. Your visit here begins with a... More

Visited Chateau Chantal in February for special meal and wine pairing. Chef Michael Alexander from Grand Rapids made a delicious 5 course dinner and Mike Dubois gave an informative tour of the cellars and paired the wine perfectly. Would go back!

Enjoyed a Wednesday wine tasting with Bill ~ our favorite!! He gave us quite the "edutainment" again regarding the wines, the climate, the area in general...he is a wealth of knowledge and so entertaining. And I got my sparkling cherry :-) And kudos to Paul as well ~ it was a wintry day and the driveway was ice and we... More

I was there recently. The second oldest winery in upper Peninsula. Great variety of wines which are cultivated and taking care with a lot of passion. This is the the top three wineries you need to check out when your here.

We stopped here on a color tour drive one weekend. This was the only winery we stopped at but had heard many good things about it through recommendations from friends. It was a sunny fall day and the views were AMAZING. You don't even think you are in Michigan. They have a large terrace you can take your wine out... More
