Located on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College, the Dennos Museum Center offers an ongoing array of changing exhibits in the arts and sciences. The museum holds and exhibits one of the largest and most historically complete collections of stone sculpture, prints and drawings by the Inuit artists of the Canadian Arctic, in the United States. Its hands-on Discover Gallery features interactive engagement with the arts and sciences. The museum produces a concert series of blues, jazz and world music and other entertainment forms each year from September to May in the center’s 367 seat Milliken Auditorium and hosts performances by other community groups throughout the year.

Enjoyed a fun night watching students of all ages performing different dances that they had practiced during the year. All ages, different types of dance. Enjoyable theater.

We always enjoy coming here. The exhibits are so interesting and often unusual. We also are mesmerized by the NASA video information; we could watch that for hours.

Haven't seen an Inuit exhibit that size since growing up in Toronto, 40 years ago. Always liked those stone figures, so expressive.

The Dennos has a large permanent collection on Inuit art and often hosts high end traveling exhibits....which makes it worth repeated visits. It is located on the southwest corner of the college campus and is a Traverse City treasure.

The permanent collection Inuit exhibit is amazing and there was also a special exhibit of textiles that I really enjoyed. The people were very friendly.
