Took my 5yo daughter here during the school holidays and she loved it. Did the blue trail a few times, then she did loads of laps round the pump track. Her first time cycling on anything other than a flat pavement. ... and it went...More
Drove from aberdeen, spent all day going round and came home sunburnt. Loved it. Blue trail is fast and fun, red trail is fun and more challenging, orange trail is jumpy fun and ends in an ace little pump track.
Tarland has many walks managed bu the MacRobert Trust. There is a good one starting in Drummy Woods by the camp site and atking in the Standing Stones with a view of Lochnagar. In Drummy Woods itself there is now a super mountain bike trail.
