This small company produces excellent Raclette. Both mild Raclette, and the more pricey aged Raclette could hold their own against any imported variety. In addition to the cheeses, the shop sells cheese accessories and cheese-themed items. Close to downtown Sutton's Bay, the shop is an easy stop on the return trip to Traverse City. We bring home enough for several... More

We picked up a chunk of the peppercorn cheese and some savory waffle crackers as a snack to have in the car. It was delicious! We were surprised to only find a few types of cheeses here. Glass windows inside allow you to view the cheese making process going on. And their "underground" storage and cheese aging space is visible... More

We picked up a couple styles of the locally made cheese here. Very tasty. Staff was a tad shy of friendly but it was fine. I would recommend a stop.

Their Raclette is extraordinary, get the 'aged' it pairs well with Pinot Grigio. We love this place for their cheese and choices of many items, such as crackers and accessories of many varieties. If you visit the wineries, this needs to be your first stop. Although some wineries offer crackers, walking in the wineries armed with the best accompaniments, makes... More

When in far northwest lower Michigan, this is our latest must stop. Based upon the "certifications" found adorning the walls, they are acknowledged as being masters at their craft. The Raclette is the specialty, and it does not disappoint. Swiss like for sure, melt in your mouth, absolutely! The mild is particularly good, when we utilize it for our at... More

Stopped by their new location, ( at least new to me ), and was greeted by a very friendly and informative gentleman. This Raclette was as good or even better than what I've had in Europe.

They make Raclette Cheese (aged and mild) very similar to swiss cheese in flavor. The mild can be eaten plain or used in cooking. I like to slice and eat it with crackers. They sell various sized pieces and depending on the day you can watch it being made.

Good cheese, easy access, funny T-shirts. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stop there. Recommended without reservations.

Raclette cheese is a delicious semi sharp, semi soft Swiss-type cheese which is great paired with any fruit, wine, and exceptional for fondue or other melted cheese appetizers. This place makes the best. Watch it being made (during the week), try a sample, take some home. It's a short stop but a "must-see" for any epicurean gastronome. (Or anyone who... More

We were in the area and I had read the reviews. We stopped and I'm glad we did. After tasting a few samples, we picked up a wedge of the aged racklette and a bag of the 9 Bean Row crackers to fuel the rest of our Michigan trip. YUM!
