A nice little museum with several buildings. A small gift shop and some old time boats. Interesting facts.

Stopped in one day while visiting the town of South Haven. Well laid out self guided tour. Many articles on the wall to read along with pictures and videos to watch. Probably spent about an hour there, well worth your time.

Thought it would be boring, but they have a ton of info in a rather small setting. It has three floors of good information. Take the helm on the demo and take a ship out of port.

Doesn't look much from outside, but very impressive displays, and worth a couple of hours plus boat trip. Staff are very helpful. Choice of boat trips, including one on an old lifeboat.

This museum has a replica of a Viking ship inside and great information of the now defunct fishing business of Lake Michigan! There was no regulation to the fisheries and now many species of fish are extinct! Now in order to get "Smoked Chubs" a...More

We enjoy the changing exhibits and events that the museum brings in to South Haven. Touring the replicas of the Nina and the Pinta were very interesting. Learning about the maritime history of Michigan over the last few years, with changing exhibits, has been great...More
