I can't tell you why but I love the lighthouse! Maybe it's the history, maybe it's the water. Whatever it is, I love walking down the pier to see her. The repairs to the structure turned out perfect. I hope she'll be standing for many...More

This lighthouse has one of the best and photographic settings especially for sunsets. Easily accessible and you don't have to trudge through lots of sand to get to it, meaning you can walk on all concrete (although not all smooth). Parking lot is close and...More

The lighthouse sits on the end of a not very long pier at the end of South Beach. It makes for a perfect sunset to walk or sit on the pier at the end of the day. Just fun to see, but smaller than I...More

My husband and I walked part of the harbor walk and out to the lighthouse! It was a beautiful sight. Rays of sunshine out over the lake made a beautiful background for the red lighthouse. Bonus, we were able to find parking close to the...More

Loved the signs with the history of the lighthouse at the beginning of the pier. The lighthouse was not huge but it was neat to see and the view of Lake Michigan from the end of the pier was great!

Part of South Haven's famous Harbor Walk, the Lighthouse has interesting history and makes a beautiful backdrop for pictures of the old sailing ships leaving from or returning to the harbor.

I am not aware that you can go in. There is a door but it is locked. I would assume no general public entrance. It is a VERY small lighthouse so there would not be a lot to see anyway.
