This area is so full of shops, restaurants, ice cream parlors, bars, everything you need! Walking around is so easy, you can get everything in, plus enjoy the Marina right on the river.

I spent an afternoon wandering around Butler Street and the side streets and loved it! I especially loved Grins, It Is What It Is, and the drugstore. I made several purchases at all 3 places -- boots and a shirt at Grins, knick knacks at...More

I live in Saugatuck, but even I am impressed by the shops (and restaurant options) in such a small town. Butler Street is the heart of downtown, with Water Street, which runs parallel to Butler, also laden with shopportunities. Don't overlook the Butler Pantry on...More

I've been strolling this street for the last 30 some years. Every year there is something new and novel--yes, novel, for where would one expect a tiny store packed with herbs and spices, a store devoted to high end women's shoes, and another offering tastings...More

My husband and I visited here for our anniversary weekend. Such a cute little town with lots of shops and restaurant options. Parking is hard to find though. We will definitely be back!

This was my first trip to Saugatuck, and I found the stores on Butler Street to be charming, and the shop owners very friendly. I spent a good 2 hours here, and probably missed some shops on the side streets. This place needs to be...More

Adorable little town on the waterway, just walking the street or sitting in the park you will find peace and beauty. So many cute little shops and restaurants! If you are looking for a couples trip this is it

There are so many different shops and galleries to visit up and down Butler Street. Depending on the type of shopping you’re doing it could take a couple hours, or the whole day to check out these cool shops.

Many are open, a few are not. Some of the downtown restaurants are closed Mondays and Tuesdays.

I agree that you should contact a local business however, many tourist places are booked solidly for the gorgeous weather in September and October.
