Made a quick trip to the St. Joseph North Pier Lighthouse on Lake Michigan. I was not able to get real close to the lighthouse since it was cold, windy, and the fierce waves crashing onto the concrete walking pier and soaking my shoes and socks!!! This was my first time seeing any of the Great Lakes! Definitely can be... More

We visited on a rainy day, so there was no one at the beach. The light house was still a fun, short little walk. We enjoyed the view and look forward to coming back on a sunny, warmer day. I wouldn’t come to Silver Beach exclusively for the light house, as it is not particularly magnificent. It does make for... More

It's a very easy walk down the pier to a very classic lighthouse. Cool to watch the sunset from the pier and watch the little town light up behind you.

Gorgeous Lighthouse with stunning sunsets. Any season is great but winter gives the most bang, with the tremendous waves beating the Lighthouse or when it is covered in glistening ice! Summer sunsets are to be cherished at this Lighthouse!

We have been looking for picturesque places to go, and a dear friend suggested that we try taking pictures of the St. Joseph lighthouses. So, we jumped into the car, and a couple of hours later, we were at the lighthouse pier, except we were on the opposite side of the channel. It was mid afternoon, and the weather was... More

There is such a charm about the Pier! It's a place you Never, Ever get tired of. The sunsets are amazing. Walk out to the end! Enjoy the river and Lake Michigan. Warning: NEVER EVER go walking if there are high waves. Even good and strong swimmers are overcome from the currents.

This is a beautiful spot of pictures, sunsets and beach walking. I grew up in the area and had the opportunity to revisit it this last summer. It is fun to go anytime of year as you get to see the lighthouses in so many different forms.

Watch and listen to the waves crash. See the sky change colors. Experience Michigan and one of it's lighthouses.
