My parents brought me when I was a kids and now I bring my kids once a year. It is a tradition & something to remember. If you love history and unique, you will love it.

It was a fun climb to the top to have a spectacular view of the lake and the surrounding area. Cute little souvenir shop with bathrooms. Be sure and get your sticker when you get back to the bottom.

Lots of stairs. Good exercise. Not much to see but for a buck why not. Gift shop if you are into souvenirs.

The view from the top of the rock is phenomenal and was definitely worth the climb, but the stairs and fencing are definitely in need of repair. Inside was a gift shop with everything you would expect. The cost to climb was only $1 and...More

Be prepared for the hard climb but once you get to the top, it makes up for all the hard work! Nice view! For only a dollar it is worth doing it !

No there is not. However in the town of Saint Ignace you will probably find somewhere along the water a place to stop and have a picnic. very small town

You can see the top of the bridge towers, not the entire bridge.

Though I don't know for sure, I would say no only because you have to walk through the gift shop to access Castle Rock itself. I'd give them a call to be sure #906-643-8268.
