Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We decided to go the Berrinba Wetlands for a walk. It is a wonderful area with a rich history.
There are really nice picnic areas with bbqs as well as a nice kids playground.
We went down to the wetland areas and we saw lots of pelicans, and other water birds.
We walked around to the other side and were impressed with the way the place was set out with walking tracks and bike tracks as well as nice seating with great views.
Also loved the mechanical sculpture of the Osprey which moved its wings up and down as well as making their whistling call. So cool!

I really enjoyed this park. It is large with a lot to see. I’d recommend checking out the map on the Logan City Council website so you know ahead of time what you want to do.

I parked on Wayne Goss Drive near the Interpretive Centre as there are toilets, parking and lunch areas there. I didn’t see parking at their fifth avenue entrance although it’s possible I missed it.

Definitely need water and food if you plan on being here a while (and sunscreen & insect repellent).

It is very clean and well maintained. It is a wild life refuge and caters for bird watching.

My bestie and I wandered around for about 2 hours - I was playing around with the Nikon and she was catching Pokémon.
There were lots of birds, but we went at the wrong time of day to spot anything else - aside from a rather large water dragon.

The crackle and hum of the powerlines overhead wasn’t overly reassuring - it felt like we were out in nature, but getting cancer at the same time! You could hear the birds and the sound of the motorway.

It is lovely though, and would be a great place to take the kids on their bikes.

Families were having bbq’s/parties and others were out enjoying a romantic stroll.

There are toilets where we parked, plenty of parking and info boards dotted around the wetland.

A gem in Browns Plains. So much to see and the walking tracks take you around this enclosed dam type enclosure.
Birds everywhere and a relaxing place to visit

Great place to bring the dogs for a walk. Nice walking trails and they can stop and put their feet in the water. There are no shops so bringing water and food is a must.

This is a great area to walk around in. Doesn't feel like you're doing exercise but you are. Can be busy at times.
