This is the best place to walk or bike. The animals along the way and the water is beautiful. The Vantage Point is a real experience in the summer and a short stop for ice cream is a must. Relax take time to enjoy life.
Spend there about 2hours extended walking. The view is amazing. There is also an historic ship with museum (was not open Feb3) Very blue water! There are restaurants nearby (didn’t try) and also the Thomas Edison Museum in walking distance.
This is an uplifting walkway in any kind of weather. Thousand foot freighters pass close by you and there's always something to watch- fishermen, kids playing in the riverside parks, diving ducks, or just the fast-moving churning current or ice floats.

The walk is very wide, I did not see wheelchair curb cuts, but it is so new that under ADA, my guess is that there would have to be and someone else said yes. It is very smooth and we saw lots of folks with baby strollers. It goes quite some ways. There is a median of green space between the road and the walk and that is where the public art is, but the public art is all visible from the walk. ENJOY !!!
