You can only read the history on the Plaque and see the tracks heading in the direction of the tunnel. It is off limits for foot traffic.

My husband is a ferroquinologist (he loves trains)!!!!! When we babysit the grandkids we always take them to see the trains. It's especially cool to see them come out of the tunnel. Now they ask if they can go see them when they come over....More
