We enjoyed driving around the thumb of Michigan. While driving we continued to add lighthouses that we have seen to our list. Well preserved, very informative staff. Friendly and the view was awesome.

The tower is only open on special occasions. They have a wonderful museum at the bottom of the lighthouse which is open from Memorial day thru mid October. I think the tower is open to climb on the summer holidays. I have... More
