This lighthouse was very pretty and well kept. It also had a really cute, quaint museum that really reminds you of things you have seen in homes of people in past generations. I really enjoyed it.

Another great old lighthouse in Michigan. Great photo ops. Also there is a lifesaving station building on site that is need of some restoration.

Really loved seeing this lighthouse, well preserved and beautiful location right on the water. The tower was not open but visited the museum which was full of history and artifacts, also enjoyed walking around the grounds, very quiet and peaceful watching boats cruise by. Thank...More

We enjoyed driving around the thumb of Michigan. While driving we continued to add lighthouses that we have seen to our list. Well preserved, very informative staff. Friendly and the view was awesome.

A lot of history in this lighthouse. We went through the house (up stairs and down), wanted to go to the top of the lighthouse, but there was not enough staff to allow for that on the day we toured. Nice playground areas in the...More

The tower is only open on special occasions. They have a wonderful museum at the bottom of the lighthouse which is open from Memorial day thru mid October. I think the tower is open to climb on the summer holidays. I have... More
