Great little museum focusing on interesting aspects of Petoskey (Hemingway, winter carnival, Native Americans, etc..) A quick and easy stop to better understand the area, They sponsor a vintage home walk in late September that is very interesting

For $3, this is worth a stop. It has a very interesting history of the area, including the rail line which went along the shoreline. The section on Ernest Hemingway, who summered in Petoskey, is particularly interesting.

We were here around 30 minutes. It is in an old train station, and is quite small, but a nice museum for $3. A bonus was the woman working there told us quite a few things about local history when we arrived. It is in...More
