Love this Wheelway and have used it often. The views are spectacular along the Bay and even through the wooded areas. A variety of terrain from paved to boardwalk with a very short route through residential(but off the main highway) as you near Charlevoix. There...More

A great way to experience the coastline of Little Traverse Bay. A well maintained pathway, with numerous small parks along the way (restrooms) and places to pull off and walk down to the water and search for Petoskey stones. Warning: some of the bike rental...More

I love it when a municipality or any public entity sees the benefit of using an old railroad bed to provide off road space for bicyclists, runners and walkers. Petoskey and the area surrounding have done it right!

Rode from Charlevoix to Petoskey State Park and back and loved the trail. The few hills aren't bad and there aren't many road crossings where I felt we were in danger. The views of Lake Michigan were nice and the exercise was good for us....More

I love this bike path. It follows along Little Traverse Bay on Lake Michigan and you often have great water views. In Petoskey there are convenient parks and opportunities to refill water bottles or picnic. I have biked it from Charlevoix to Petoskey downtown, past...More
