We had a great visit to this park. There are upper and lower falls which are separated by about 4 miles. You can hike or drive between them. The lower falls is a series of small falls while the upper falls is a larger single falls. From the parking lots it is a short 0.3 mile easy walk to either... More

Went to the upper Falls first, loved it no bugs not very many people, a lot time to soak in the beauty and the sounds. Went to the lower Falls next not worth it in the winter way way too far to walk for what you see. Not worth it on the lower. Not a place for young kids.

Great place to visit with friends and family. What a beautiful sight to see. Another one of the UP's many waterfalls.

It's just as amazing as you've heard. It's hard to do the beauty justice in pictures. This should be on your bucket list, most definitely.

Many are aware of the beauty and power of both the upper and lower Tahquamenon Falls in Michigan's eastern Upper Peninsula. They may not realize that the falls are a year-around attraction. I stopped in with my lovely bride on our way home from a Christmas visit with family in Minnesota, and were treated to a great mid-winter view that... More

We came here with two couples to see the falls and I am so very glad we did, everything about Tahquamenon Falls State Park was beautiful and the falls themselves were breathtaking. I highly recommend anyone in the area to take a breath taking view of the falls. And visit the restaurant the food was very good and the staff... More

Hiked down to the lower falls on very cold windy day. In winter the close access road is closed so you have to hike in across the snow covered trail. Arriving at the falls made it well worth the effort. Then drove to the upper falls which is a very short walk from the parking lot even in winter. Tahquamenon... More

Just fabulous camping for families, friends or couples. We camped 4 days here as a family of 4. Hiked everyday (children were 9 & 11), loved playing in the water along the way. The restaurant onsite was wonderful as well. Be well prepared with a screen house and plenty of mosquito repellent though, you have been warned ;) Our stay... More
