This was just a quick and random stop on our way to our next hotel reservation. We enjoyed the history inside and views from the top of the lighthouse (it's a narrow walk up!) of Lake Superior. Our 7-month-old had a blast, too, so don't...More

White fish point light house and museum is a must see if you are in the area. A great view of the lake and cargo ships rounding the point. The Museum is primarily a Lake Superior shipwreck museum. Does a good job of showing the...More

If you enjoy checking out the Great Lakes maritime history, this place is for you. The information and sights here are vast. Lots to see. Hiking trails, museums, the lighthouse, and keeper's house. Great place for watching birds. Some rare ones even. Discount for veterans....More

The lighthouse is part of the shipwreck museum. It has couriers who explain the life of the lighthouse engineer and his family...a very lonely life

This is part of the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum which I've already reviewed under that name. This is a must-see attraction if you are in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan!

We stopped here specifically for our niece. She's never been this far north, so we wanted to share it with her. It's been a few years since we've been here and it was nice to see the monument honoring the Edmund Fitzgerald.

We so enjoyed visiting and looking at the great displays. Thought the cost was a little pricey but if it goes to the upkeep then I am ok with it. You can walk right down to The Lake Superior beach. We spent about an hour...More

We visited this area late Sept. 2017. Not being from an area that has lighthouses (Colorado) we were pleasantly surprised how interesting everything was. It was very hot the day we were there and we had our dog but were told she could go in...More
