There were all kinds of different museum material here. It would be a very amazing place for someone interested in history or flying to visit.

It has facinating historical displays of a northeast Michigan Air Force base established before World War 2 and decommissioned after the conclusion of the Cold War. It is very creative and offers great historical and personal displays.

Located on the retired air base, full of history of both flight and military relics. Best time to visit during the military vehicle show held during the summer months.

I am a history buff and flew in to visit the old base. There is barely any noticeable activity at the airport. The folks at the museum absolutely love visitors and enjoy talking and sharing what they remember of the base! One old timer ended...More

The air museum was very interesting and informative. The guides do an excellent job! It was well worth the entry fee of $5.00!

As a former military family, it was really interesting for us to see the old planes, posters, etc. The staff was very friendly. Our kids enjoyed it.

I was impressed with the amount of things you can touch, sit in or on in this museum! Loved touching the helicopters and planes in the garage part of the museum and sitting in the plane seats. Nice volunteers throughout. My husband loved reading everything...More
