Really enjoyed ourselves here. We four adults were impressed with the well maintained walkways, very comfortable under foot. For a small zoo it was VERY well kept, the animals seemed relaxed not stressed and they had plenty of water & shaded areas. It's sad to...More

What a neat place. Many of the animals roam freely around the zoo. You can pet them and feed them. Additionally, they have a collection of animals not seen at most zoo's.

A nice variety and interesting mix of animals! Easy access on highway 2. A forest setting with comfortable walking trails provides an opportunity for families to have a fairly close up animal viewing experience. Some interactive exhibits for the kids are fun and provide photo...More

This is a fun zoo. Feeding the bears, alpacas, and goats was fun. My only concern is that they are trying to purchase a lion cub from a breeder. There are so many places that have illegal lions. Why encourage the purchase of cubs?

We loved this zoo and the bugs loved us! Make sure you wear pants or put on bug spray!! So many bugs around due to the mulch you walk on & the animals. This was a super neat zoo! Several different animals & some I've...More

This zoo is managed very poorly. As soon as we entered the building we were treated rudely by the owners daughter who was taking our money for tickets. The animals are in horrible conditions. The entire place reeks of urine and feces. All of the...More

I'm amazed that such an animal expert like yourself would not take the time to address some of these issues and concerns with us at the time of your visit. I believe this is nothing more than a rant due to not receiving the same...More

If I am not mistaking they do have a wheelchair ramp to and from the Gift Shop. I have seen others use wheelchairs while there, the ground is well packed but not paved.
