Jean welcomed us to what turned out to be a private tasting for the four of us. Very gracious and generous host. We tried about 6 wines and they were all delicious! Highly recommend. Make a reservation.

While traveling in the Loire Valley we got in touch with Domaine Huet, producer of one of the finest Vouvray wines available. We set up a time for a wine tasting. We were warmly greeted by Johan, an experienced employee of Huet. Johan carefully explained...More

Went here to taste some good Vouvary and was not disappointed. Very much aimed at the connoisseur rather than mass market.

My travels have taken me to 48 wine regions spread across twelve countries on four continents and our experience at Domaine Huet was exactly what we were hoping for. Most of the people in our party of eight had read War & Wine and were...More

Enjoyed a nice wine-tasting led by Johan who took us through a tasting of the 3 different terroirs and differing vintages. Truly delicious wines for just about every kind of food or mood. The narrow streets may be off-putting for some but persistence pays off!

Domaine Huet is a top end producer and this tasting room will not be on many itineraries because the regular tourists typically end up at lower priced producers where you can get good wines but not of this quality. Eight wines were available for tasting...More

We arrived near the end of the day on Saturday, and Jean welcomed us into the tasting room for some conversation and wine. We were the only folks in the tasting room, one of the benefits of traveling in the off-season, and we enjoyed a...More

I visited Domaine Huet for the first time last month and I have to say it was a very eye opening visit. I have just recently started to dive into wine and the visit to Domaine Huet to taste their biodynamic wines was fantastic. The...More

We've not been to Huet before and the visitor experience is fantastic. There is a bar and several groups can be seen at once. The guy serving spoke impeccable English and was very knowledgable - we learned a lot from the blind tasting at the...More

Our hotel called Domaine Huet and told us the times available for visiting. Our guide spoke perfect English. The hotel confirmed our visit for us.

I second Gram's comment about Les Gueules Noire! My review from this past summer: With twelve days in France, you would think one would have some great dining experiences. And we did! And our lunch at Les Gueules Noires... More
