We spent an early morning on the beach. They were cleaning and raking it making it very clean. Free parking right on the beach... Kid friendly, jogger friendly... From this beach you could walk out to the lighthouse. Made for a nice morning.

Wide white sand beach, open and welcoming. Clean beach and water, great for swimming, boating, kite surfing, sunning. Underutilized so rarely have crowds.

Great under rated state park with an awesome beach and trails. Michigan has some of the best state parks in the country.

I highly recommend Shoreline Inn. I recently stayed in August and they had all new staff, but they were all friendly. They have an indoor pool and hot tub that's 24 hours. There's a bar, great Muskegon Lake views, a nice hot... More
