This was all around an awesome experience amid what is going on in Nicaragua.
Definitely a highlight.
Unfortunately with the situation in Nica, we were only two on the day we went but that wasn't a let down. We got to be first and last...More
I took the volcano boarding tour but was not staying there. The tour guides, hostel staff, group, and boarding was a blast! You have to be able to hike so I recommend spending the extra $5 to pay a local to carry your board. They...More
Thrilling time Volcano boarding then then beach for a second wild time. Carolina was the coolest, radest, most dope guide you can get. Nothing can go wrong with volcanos and high speed sledding on rocks when you’ve got good people around
It was not the cheapest volcano tour of Leon but it was very fun, I loved the fact that our guide Santa gave us information during the tour, for example how volcano boarding was born there. :) A memorable day! Thanks!
Everything from finding us a parking spot, to leaving on time was great. The longish ride from the Hostel to the volcano went by fast. Bigfoot was very accommodating to the hikers in the group stopping for brakes and talking about the different craters. The...More

It's $29 per person plus I think a $5 entrance fee to the park (the volcano is located in a national park).
Advise signing up in advance as they do book up.
If you google bigfoot hostel volcano boarding the link comes up - Trip Advisor won't let me post the link.
