this town suffered a bad earthquake, because is surrounded by volcanos that are actives. the town can use some cleanup and paint, but still very authentic.

We visited this ruin site recognized worldwide for its history. My husband loved it because he is really a history buff. Be prepared it will be very hot walking the ruins and you will need bug spray. Also the restrooms (Bano's) don't have running water....More

If you like history, and artifacts this is a wonderful stop! Tomb of the Conquistador Cordoba and the floors and some walls from buildings built in the 1500's. You can spend at least 1/2 a day here.
