Absolutely love that here. It’s a great time to come and relax not too many shops going on during the week. Although I won’t be on the weekends and tell you what it’s like. The turtle tour is definitely A once and a lifetime experience

I went to playa las peñitas after going volcano boarding. The water was refreshing but it had a lot of big waves. The sunset view was great!

Here was my first encounter with the Pacific Ocean and such a wonderful experience. The waves are great and spent around 5 hours in the water just goofing around. Wish I knew how to surf, this place was awesome for that.

We came to Las Penitas beach for a relaxing trip to the beach. We had visited once many years before but were disappointed this time. The town now looks like a war zone. Many private properties are in disrepair and falling down. The only building...More

Yes you could get a taxi, and might be more economical if you could share one with others at your hostel or lodging. I don't recall the name of the bus terminal but it was not one of the larger ones. I think it was the... More
