This place does a good job covering the history of the area. I also got to see a blacksmith in action. The lady here was very energetic and knew a lot about the area. Good conversation. They also have lighthouse pass port stamps here.

Nice little museum detailing some of the history of Munising. Trapper cabin in the back was neat. The lady working the desk was very friendly and very helpful.

Well worth an hour or so of visiting to check out Munising's history. Walk around the grounds to see the old trapper's cabin from Grand Island out behind the building.

We stopped here July 11th to get our lighthouse stamps for our Lighthouse Passport. We were able to get 4 stamps with a donation. The staff member manning the front desk was very helpful & very friendly!
