This lovely old cathedral from the Spanish era should be 'must' visit when in Vigan. It is centrally located and has been well preserved. It is typical of old Spanish church architecture of the northern Philippines.

Our local tour coincided with first communion for dozens of young children. Access was nevertheless allowed. The interior is similar to other northern Philippine cathedrals like in Paoay. Little architectural details on the exterior pay homage to the Chinese character of Vigan. It is also...More

Definitely worth a visit if you are in this part of the Philippines. Gorgeous church with original tiled floors from centuries ago. Lots of beautiful detail. On the main town square.

We heard mass here on a Sunday, there is an English service at 6:30pm Sundays and 5:00pm Saturdays. Beautiful interiors and great acoustic for the choir -- they sound like a Gregorian choral chant.

I am sorry, I don't have an idea how much a wedding would cost. I will ask around and get back to you :)
