Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

"Myanmar Golden Monastery" in Lumbini, Nepal. Lumbini is a significant Buddhist pilgrimage site, as it is believed to be the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama, the historical Buddha. The main attractions in Lumbini are the sacred garden, Maya Devi Temple, Ashoka Pillar, and various monasteries built by Buddhist communities from different countries.

However, things might have changed after my last update and new structures could have been added or renamed. If there is now a "Myanmar Golden Monastery" in Lumbini, I, unfortunately, wouldn't have any information about it.

The Myanmar Golden Temple is one of nine monasteries in the East Monastic Zone, which also happens to be the location of Buddhist monasteries of the Theravada tradition. The most significant structure in the monastery is probably the huge gold gilded stupa

This is one of the many monasteries in Lumbini, you should not miss. A copy of Famous Pagoda from Burma, you can find similar monastery in Kushinagar, India.

Make sure to walk through the gates to go behind the stupa. There are beautiful buildings and a meditation hall.

This is one of the many monasteries you can visit. This one is on the eastern side, not far away from the main attraction. It was made from famous pagoda in Yangoon. She looks nice from the outside, but you can’t go inside.

A large beautiful Burmese monastic site with a large pagoda as you enter. There are scenes depicting Buddha's import arm life events around the Pagoda as your circumambulate around it.

If you venture into the Pilgrims rest house quarters at the back of the temple - you will find addition temple/prayer halls.

Definitely worth a visit!

It was my first visit to any Burmese temple. I was not overwhelmed. It was ok. Take water and wear socks in the summer. And now I write to satisfy the count

Though every temple in Lumbini is unique, this temple is entire yellow. It is therefore, called golden temple. It was the first monastery we visited in Lumbini and I was highly impressed by its art.
