Beautiful canyon with spectacular views. As you have to cross a little bridge it is not suitable fot persons with fear of heights.

It is well worth going from Hoedspruit up the Abel Erasmus pass to see the stunning Blyde River canyon with the Three Rondavels looking down on it from 800m up. The Bourke's Luck potholes a few km further on are equally fascinating & worth a...More

The closeness of all the sights make it very pleasing with vistas and heights unequalled anywhere. The plethora of well established restaurants and guest houses make the visit an welcome breakaway from the bustle of city life

Beware stop and go's on this route can add up to 40 minutes to your driving time, (even more if you get stuck behind a big truck,) nevertheless the delays are worthwhile to see the spectacular scenery. Between Lydenburg and Hoedspruit lots of citrus for...More

One of the most beautiful routes in South Africa! Fill of fantastic attractions, the newly charged entrance fee is a great addition to upgrade the experience. However one bad thing is the horrible Mpumalanga roads!!!

Hazyview to Graskop is a lottery with all the potholes in the road. My wife remarked how the views could not be experienced because she was acting as the back seat driver helping me navigate. The usual attractions form a part of the experience. Railings...More

Hello all, I am traveling to S. Africa in September. I've just started planning, already purchased my airline tickets flying into Cape Town and out of Joberg. I would really like to do the panorama route by renting a car. How many days do you need to visit this route to see as much as possible? Can it be done in one day on our way back from Krugar? How far is the first stop from Krugar? Just need some tips please. THANKS!

In all honesty, I would fly if you want to cram the most in your trip, (Sounds AMAZING by the way)! And no, while the weather in Durban was nice, it's like being in Daytona or the Keys (I used to live in Florida as well), T... More
