This attraction offers a nice view of a rock but that is about it.We were not really impressed but if you're driving the Panorama route. Don't expect too much.

As most of the attraction in Panorama, this is another quick stop. Pay a small fee to enter and you'll see the big rock. It's pretty much dry during September-October.

After a little walk over an uneven path, views of the pinnacle are stunning. It's worth wandering through the bushes (wear long trousers!) to the larger view point nearer the toilet block for the perfect view of the rock and the valley below.

Millions of years to shape this wonderful marvel of nature. Worth the walk to the lower view sight to see the Pinnacle against the lowveld backdrop

A nice walk way to see different aspects and view points of the rock, a particular favourite of mine was walking to the very edge and finding the little stream of water going between rocks and over the top into the valley a long way below. A great spot to stand with binoculars and take in the scenery and birds... More

The Pinnacle Rock is a freestanding quartzite buttress that stands 30 meters above the forest below. The parking area had more than ample parking and it was not busy at the time of our visit (10 August 2016). Curio stalls boasted local African art. Restroom facilities were available and were clean at the time of our visit. It is a... More

The Pinnacle is the first stop on the Panorama route, and it's a great start! A beautiful view indeed. If you walk just a little bit further down, you will get to the top of a waterfall, which is also really beautiful. An entrance fee is charged at R10 per person.

We enjoyed our visit to Pinnacle Rock. It was our first scenic site during our tour of the Blyde River Canyon, after driving through LOTS of fog. What a beautiful view too. Too bad we had so little time there.

Great view of a natural site. Quiet and spectacular. Only a short walk from parking area. Although they charge a small fee it is worth it because the facilities are clean.
