You cannot miss seeing this weathervane when traveling through Montague. It is much bigger than we expected and the history was interesting. It was chatting with the locals about this weathervane that made me re-evaluate my original thoughts that this was an average attraction. So take time to talk to the locals about it as their thoughts are quite interesting.

Set in a center square, there is the history of the weather vane. It sure is impressive. Very nice square.

It was cool to watch it turn with the wind. The explanation of dimensions and history were interesting. A nice spot to have your ice cream treat from Twisters.

Very unique, built by a local company Whitehall industries and a great photo opportunity for the teenage grandchildren. That coupled with The bike trails that go approx. 30 miles to the nearby town of Meers took most of the day with lunch on the ride.

Spent part of the spring months in our RV on Route 66 and saw a few other "world largest" things but forgot all about this in a city we visited for 20 years a long while ago. So, for you seekers of the worlds largest here's one for you in a quaint town near beautiful Lake Michigan. Lovely place to... More

Quick place to stop by and see the world's largest weathervane. There was some interesting history to read about regarding weathervanes.

Best I've ever seen!! It's very pretty and functional. My brother worked at the foundry that made this weathervane. A must see if you are in Montague.

There was a cool little duo going on last time we were there. It was pretty cool. Go see it if you like weathervanes.

How beautiful. Across from the Weathervane Inn. Would make a great postcard. So big and beautiful . Saw people laying on the ground to get a picture of this from the bottom up.p
