We stayed at a house. We liked the house we were at. We ate at the Moose Cafe. Food was good but expensive. Call before you go. The place is seasonal. The museum was closed.Call before you go.

Fun to stop in if you're having a leisurely day like we where (we rode our tandem bike through town just for fun that day)....but there's not a whole lot to see.

This museum is free and shows the local history of logging and life around Michigamme from early beginnings. Don works the museum and knows a great deal of the history. There are indoor and outdoor exhibits, including old machinery and vehicles. It's worth the visit...More
