We visited here after the dune tour, it was a good spot for swimming with small children since it’s mostly shallow sand bars. We visited in the middle of the week and it was packed, so if you’re looking for more seclusion this is probably...More

Great view of lake Mi and dunes! Highly recommend visiting and climbing to top of lighthouses. If climbing to top of lighthouse isn’t for you, still a great experience to see up close admiring the hard work and craftsmanship that went into building LSPL.

Buy ticket at trailer in parking lot. "Child" status/price is by height, not age for safety reasons. Pretty. People swimming. Looked like they could wade out pretty far. Nice short stop while in area - easy access.

It was beautiful! We took many pictures of the lighthouse and the lake. Touring inside was also neat--but could be challenging--physically and if there is any fear of heights . . . but nonetheless, definitely added to our trip to the Dunes!!

Has to be my favorite lighthouse in the area. Beautiful brick, stunning views of the water from the top. Easy walk up at spiral staircase. Definitely worth a look. Can’t wait to be back.

Not far out of town, and the perfect place to watch the sunset! The water was also shallow here, so a great place for the kids to swim.

The view at the top of the lighthouse is wonderful! There is also a nice beach right there, and there were few people there even though the weather was perfect.
