This was an unexpected gem at the end of the day, at sunset. We enjoyed watching a freighter load and then return to "sea" (Great Lakes) with lights on. The walk to view the lighthouse and sight a pair of kayakers was lovely as well.

Never miss visiting this beautiful park. The drive, or walk, around the perimeter is so peaceful. But best of all is watching the sun set over sunset point. A must see in Marquette.

Presque Isle Park is a must stop on your trip to Marquette. Plan on having your picnic lunch while admiring the beautiful view of Lake Superior. You can ride your bike through it and stop at some breathtaking sights. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views and scenery. Go just for the view or take a leap into Lake Superior. Definitely a must when in Marquette.

We were amazed at how beautiful and accessible this park is. Apparently the person who designed it is the same man that designed Central Park in NYC. There is a road around the perimeter and much has been left as nature intended. Go at sunset...More

I don't know the answer to your question. We didn't check out renting kayaks or any other water toys.
