Be sure to stop here and walk the the path to a pond that has a large wooden raft in it. You board the raft and literally pull yourself to the middle of the pond by the rope and pulley system attached to the raft....More

A great state park located by some wonderful sites to see nearby. It's not to far from "civilization" either if you enjoy the creature comforts of town by going in to Manistique, Michigan.

Worth the time.. Relaxing, informational, calming!! Enjoyed the scenery and the staff.. We even had an opportunity to feed the fish as the park ranger was busy saving someone's life at the time.. HA HA !!

Beautiful little gem. The parking lot was packed. We had to wait our turn to take a ride on the lake, but I am happy that so many people are enjoying nature.

Visitors usually come here to see the big spring like we did. The gift shop has cool gadgets for sale and snacks. Highly recommend for tourists in the Manistique area.
